Rock band for Wii Review

Rock band for Wii Review

Have you ever dreamed of being in a band? Jamming with your friends in the garage, waiting for your big break? Well, while you are waiting for your big break, you can brush up your skills with Rock Band for the Wii! This product is topping all sorts of charts and although it has come out for other systems, the Wii version is definitely the best choice.

This is the product comes with a guitar controller, drum controller and a microphone; so it feels just like the real thing! The drum controller really looks like a drum set with four pads, a kick pedal and real drum sticks, the guitar controller utilizes a five-way FX switch that allows flanger, wah-wah, echo and chorus effects, which of course is the only reason to be playing a guitar. Microphone can be tapped against your hand to play percussion instruments, such as tambourine and cowbell, if you feel like having a cowbell being part of your band. Even if you are new to instruments, which I was in the beginning there is a mode which you can practice and get familiar before moving into a real level. The tutorial level is really helpful in aiding you into getting friendly with your instruments (controllers).

With Rock band, you can play music from Rolling Stones to The Killers, a must if you are a music lover and an avid game player like me. There are over 40 other tracks to play with, tracks that are all over the rock genre. I personally love the fact that they have a mix of Bon Jovi and the Ramones; I could be playing Metallica for one round and The Killers for the next, what a mix! This game is definitely worth checking out, so what are you waiting for?
